Carnivores will be trading at the Ashburton Farmers Market tomorrow for the second to last time. Next Saturday 21st will be our last trading day at the market due to a very combative Ashburton council and a lack of confidence in our long term future at the market under the current structure. We have put a lot of energy and expense into building Carnivores and we appreciate all of our amazing customers many of whom has become friends.
We will hibernate for a while while we explore options that allow the business to continue to grow both locally and in nearby districts. We intend to build a trading relationship with other Ashburton business owners where the butchery could compliment their existing offerings and some joint marketing & growth opportunities, any ideas?

Hello Methven, it has always been our intention to include you guys in a regular visit schedule as we are truly a local district based butchery sourcing our stock locally ... including methven.
As a small micro butchery we have always been time poor ... but for the first time we are ahead of schedule.
We think it is only fitting that we reward the locals, we will be trading tomorrow from the PURPLE DRAGON site in methven tomorrow! This is not a clearance sale, this is a fully stocked mobile butchery xmas trading day..... before our hometown in Ashvegas!!
