📍 Lapa Emporium – Takapuna

Lapa Emporium Café & Retail Shop is looking for a Front of House All-Rounder to join our team starting immediately.

Position: FOH All-Rounder
Schedule: 4 -5 days per week – 7:30am to 4:00pm (including weekends)
Location: 152 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna

What we are looking for:

• Hospitality experience is a must
• Barista knowledge is a plus (but not essential)
• Fluent English
• Reliable and punctual
• Proactive with a positive attitude
• Quick learner with initiative
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a café and retail environment
• References required

Responsibilities include:

• Customer service and taking orders
• Preparing coffee and beverages (training can be provided)
• POS and handling payments
• Food cabinet service and basic food prep support
• Maintaining café cleanliness and presentation
• Assisting with retail products and stock

We are looking for someone who is keen to stay long-term and grow with the team.

📢 We’re Hiring – Barista / FOH All Rounder

Lapa Emporium is looking for an experienced Barista / Front of House All Rounder to join our team immediately.

Position: Full Time
Shifts: To be discussed

Barista Responsibilities:
• Preparing high-quality espresso, milk-based drinks, and other beverages
• Dialing in grinders and maintaining coffee quality and consistency
• Cleaning and maintaining the coffee machine, grinders, and bar area
• Managing coffee workflow during busy service periods
• Assisting with stock control for coffee, milk, and bar supplies

Front of House (FOH) Responsibilities:
• Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service
• Taking orders and operating the POS/cashier
• Serving food and drinks to tables or takeaway customers
• Restocking food display cabinets and retail shelves
• Keeping the café clean, organized, and presentable
• Supporting the team with opening and closing duties

Requirements:
• Fluent English
• Hospitality experience is essential
• Barista experience preferred
• Friendly, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
