Meet Steve 👋 - Our Operations Manager

When Steve moved back from Australia in 2015, he wasn’t just job hunting — he was looking for a change of pace. Something local, hands-on, and connected to the community.

Driving through tiny Canvastown, he spotted a little honey shed that didn’t look like much… but it caught his eye. One chat turned into another, and before he knew it, Steve had stepped into a whole new chapter with G&S Foods.

With his background in food production and live seafood management, Steve brought practical know-how, fresh ideas, and a real people-first approach. Since then, he’s helped lift efficiencies, smooth out processes, and build the supportive team culture we’re so proud of.

His leadership keeps us grounded — and connected.

And his motto says it all:
