We had an awesome time at the Polyfest this year!

Thanks to everyone that came in support of us and purchased our Taro & Banana chips!

We’re so excited!

Just a few more steps before we hit our first few supermarket stores - kick starting with FreshChoice

Our current storefront is pantry Riverside market

And we’re at the Sunday Riverside Markets once a month (last Sunday) and Riccarton Farmers Market once a month on a Saturday.

A Problem — But the Best Kind of Problem! 😄

We SOLD OUT!

Poly Bites Limited had an incredible weekend at the Canterbury Home Show, and our snacks were flying off the shelves faster than we expected!

On Day 1, our Green Banana Chips started running out by 2pm… we looked at our stock and realised it might not even last the next two days!

So what did we do? We rolled up our sleeves, headed back to the restaurant that night — and made another batch. Then did it again on Saturday night! 💪🏽

By Sunday 3pm, our Pink Taro Chips were completely SOLD OUT, with just a few bags of Banana Chips left.

We honestly didn’t expect this kind of response. We thought a Polynesian-inspired snack might take a bit more time to catch on with a wider audience — but you all proved us wrong! 🙌🏽

Our free samples turned out to be our secret weapon, driving amazing sales and even better conversations.

We had chefs try our products (and love them!), and several people even suggested we stock at Air NZ, Fresh Choice and other local stores.

We might’ve lost a few hours of sleep over those four days, but it was so worth it to share Poly Bites with so many new faces.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, and helped make this event such a success. Your feedback, smiles, and enthusiasm mean the world to us. 💖

What a week!

Huge congratulations to all the Winners for all the categories at the Pacific Business Trust awards night! Thank you PBT for your continued support in growing Poly Bites!

We are very honoured, proud and humbled to have Poly Bites Limited as one of the Finalists in the Food and hospitality Category! Never expected it and even in our first year of business!

Special thanks to Etta's Polynesian Takeaways for supporting us in the production of our products! They squeezed us in to operate from their kitchen and got us off the ground…

Huge thanks and respect for the Mahi Sherrelle Smith is doing to support Pacific businesses into supermarket channels! She is one of the supporter you want to have in your corner!

It was a great and quick little wee getaway to Auckland last week… we also got to present our samples to Food stuffs North Island, and New World Manurewa while we were up there for the Awards! (Talk about a productive day)! They loved it and can see our products on their shelves!

The feedback was great! We received some very good news from them and we will be keeping you all posted as we work on the paperwork and a few little things before hitting the supermarkets early next year!! Super excited and thank you so much Sherrelle Smith for helping us through this phase!
