NORTHERN, CENTRAL CEBU UNDER SIGNAL NO. 1
Typhoon Uwan continues to rapidly intensify as it begins to move closer towards the Philippine Sea east of Bicol Region, according to Pagasa in its 5 p.m. advisory on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The center of the eye of "Uwan" was located 575 kilometers (km) east of Catarman, Northern Samar or 620 km east of Virac, Catanduanes.
The typhoon has a maximum sustained winds of 150 km/hour near the center, and gusts up to 185 km/hour while moving west northwestward at 30 km/hour.
