All wrapped up for the last batch of the 2026 Study Tour!

From August 24–27, 2026, we were honored to welcome the CDA Region XII cooperative representatives to Amparitas Integrated Farm for a meaningful and hands-on learning experience centered on coconut production, value-adding, and sustainable agricultural enterprise development.

Throughout the study tour, our participants gained insights into the coconut industry, explored different value-adding opportunities and coconut-based products, and learned practical approaches on how agricultural resources can be transformed into innovative and marketable products. We also shared our experiences in developing an integrated farm enterprise and creating opportunities for farmers through product innovation, sustainable agriculture, and agribusiness.

From farm practices to value-added products, we believe that every coconut has greater potential when knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship come together.

CDA R12 Study Tour 2026 – Batch 2: Unlocking the Power of the Tree of Life!
From August 17–21, 2026, Amparitas Integrated Farm proudly welcomed Batch 2 of the CDA Region 12 Study Tour! This empowering five-year-round program brought together cooperative leaders and members from across Region XII for an immersive learning journey centered on sustainable agriculture, enterprise management, and most importantly coconut value-adding opportunities.

As the "Tree of Life," the coconut offers endless potential far beyond traditional farming. During the farm visit, participants took a deep dive into Amparitas Integrated Farm’s innovative processing methods to see how raw coconut materials are transformed into high-value market goods, including:

•Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) Production: Learning the extraction techniques that preserve natural nutrients for health and cosmetics markets.

•Coco Sugar & Nectar: Exploring natural, low-glycemic sweetener alternatives derived from coconut sap.

•Specialty Coconut Beverages: Discovering unique local innovations like nutrient-rich coconut blossom tea and refreshing coconut-based drinks.

•By-Product Utilization: Understanding how every part of the coconut from meat and water to husk and shell can be maximized to create profitable enterprise streams.

Through hands-on demonstrations and direct knowledge-sharing, our delegates gained practical, actionable blueprints they can take back to strengthen their respective cooperatives and uplift local farming communities.

Matagumpay na isinagawa ang 5-Day Hands-on Training on Coco Coir Processing noong August 16-20, 2026 sa Amparitas Integrated Farm.

Dinaluhan ito ng mga kasapi mula sa Region 2, sa pamamagitan ng inisyatiba ng DTI Region 2, at pinondohan ng Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) sa ilalim ng Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP).

Sa loob ng limang araw, nagkaroon ang mga participants ng hands-on learning at practical training sa coco coir processing, mula sa wastong pagproseso ng coconut husks hanggang sa pagbuo ng mga produktong may dagdag na halaga. Layunin ng pagsasanay na mapalawak ang kaalaman at kasanayan ng mga kalahok sa coconut value-adding, produktong coco coir, at mga oportunidad para sa karagdagang kita at kabuhayan ng mga coconut farmers at stakeholders.

Isang makabuluhang hakbang tungo sa mas produktibo, sustainable, at value-adding na industriya ng niyog.

Maraming salamat sa DTI Region 2, PCA, CFIDP, at sa lahat ng participants sa patuloy na pakikibahagi sa makabuluhang pagsasanay na ito!

Amparitas Integrated Farm and the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen collaboration on capacity development and market access for white copra and coco coir.

The partnership forms part of the Bangsamoro Agri-Enterprise Program (BAEP) – Creating Responsible Sustainable Competitive Enterprises (CRESCENT), an initiative focused on supporting the growth of responsible, sustainable, and competitive enterprises within the BARMM agribusiness sector, with funding support from the European Union.

Through this collaboration, Amparitas Integrated Farm and ECCP aim to contribute to:

🥥 Improved capacity and skills in white copra and coco coir production and processing.
📈 Enhanced market access and stronger connections to potential buyers and markets.
🤝 Stronger value-chain partnerships among farmers, enterprises, and industry stakeholders.
🌱 Promotion of sustainable agribusiness practices and responsible enterprise development.
💼 Expanded livelihood and economic opportunities for communities engaged in the coconut industry.

This MOU marks another important step toward transforming coconut-based products into more competitive, sustainable, and market-driven enterprises—creating greater opportunities for farmers and communities while strengthening the agribusiness sector.

Amparitas Integrated Farm was honored to welcome the participants of the CDA R12 Study Tour 2026 – Batch 1 from August 10–14, 2026.

The study tour brought together cooperative participants from Region XII for an enriching learning experience focused on cooperative development, sustainable agriculture, enterprise management, and value-adding opportunities in the coconut industry.

Through knowledge sharing, farm visits, and hands-on learning, the participants gained practical insights and experiences that may contribute to strengthening their respective cooperatives and communities.

We sincerely thank the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region XII and all participating cooperatives for choosing Amparitas Integrated Farm as part of this meaningful learning journey.
