🌩️ DRRM COURSE FOR LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVES
Tacloban City • November 27–28, 2025 🌩️
In our continued commitment to building safer, stronger, and more resilient communities, our Local Government Unit proudly joins the DRRM Course for Local Chief Executives held in Tacloban City on November 27–28, 2025. This two-day learning activity serves as a vital platform for strengthening the knowledge, preparedness, and leadership capabilities of our local officials in the face of disasters and emergencies.
Throughout the training, leaders from various municipalities gathered to deepen their understanding of disaster risk reduction and management, explore best practices, and develop effective strategies that can be implemented within their respective localities. The sessions focused on enhancing readiness before disasters strike, improving coordinated response during emergencies, and ensuring efficient recovery efforts afterwards.
The course also emphasized the importance of collaboration—among LGUs, national agencies, community stakeholders, and frontline responders—to guarantee that no one is left behind, especially the most vulnerable sectors. With climate-related hazards becoming more frequent and unpredictable, it is crucial for our leaders to stay equipped with updated knowledge, tools, and skills to safeguard lives and livelihoods.
We extend our appreciation to the resource speakers, facilitators, and organizers for providing an enriching learning experience. Their expertise and guidance inspire us to push forward in our mission to build a culture of preparedness and resilience.
As we return to our municipality, we bring with us renewed commitment and actionable insights that will help strengthen our local DRRM programs. Together, we continue working towards a community that is not only disaster-ready, but disaster-resilient.
