Courts: 4 Courts
Format: Doubles Open Play

Open Play Mechanics

Court Setup

4 active courts

8 players playing every round

Remaining players stay in the waiting queue

Games are played using the “Winners Stay” RE Club System

RE Club Winners Stay System

Winning Team

Winners stay together on the same court

Winners move up one court:

Court 4 winners move to Court 3

Court 3 winners move to Court 2

Court 2 winners move to Court 1

Court 1 winners stay on Court 1 as the “King’s Court”

Losing Team

Losing team exits the court and returns to the waiting queue

New Challengers

New pairs from the waiting queue enter the vacant courts

Priority goes to players who have waited the longest

Rotation Rules

Game Format

Rally scoring

First to 11 points

Win by 1

Maximum game time: 10 minutes

Player Rotation

Players should rotate fairly

Avoid repeating partners consecutively when possible

Players waiting for more than 2 rounds receive priority entry

Suggested Court Structure

Court 1 – King’s Court

Highest winning court

Court 2 – Advanced Court

Competitive rotation

Court 3 – Intermediate Court

Balanced games

Court 4 – Challenger Court

New challengers enter here

Estimated Rotation Flow

Each round lasts approximately 10 minutes

Around 15–16 rounds can be completed from 4 PM to 7 PM

Approximately 120–128 player slots available during the session

All 36 players should receive multiple games throughout the open play

Queue Management Tips

Assign one marshal or organizer to monitor rotations

Use a whiteboard or numbered paddle rack system

Call the next pair immediately after every game

Encourage fast transitions between rounds

Sample Announcement

Welcome to our Marawi Pickleball Hub Ladies Open Play.

We will be using the RE Club Winners Stay System from 4 PM to 7 PM across four courts. Winning teams move up and continue playing, while losing teams rotate back into the queue. This event is exclusively for lady players. Please observe fair rotation, good sportsmanship, and quick court transitions so everyone gets maximum playing time.
