Join the SALIW SA PANATA Martial Dance Competition 2026, a highlight of the Santa Cruz, Marinduque Gunita Lenten Parade. Become part of Marinduque's history in a competition that fuses Filipino Martial Arts (Arnis) with the passion of our Moriones heritage.

We are calling on all Dance Groups, Zumba Clubs, Barangays, Schools, and Community Groups to form your battalions, don your DIY Morion armor, and march to the beat of history!

🏆 BIG PRIZES AWAIT THE VICTORS:

🥇 GRAND CHAMPION: PHP 100,000.00
🥈 1st Runner-Up: PHP 70,000.00
🥉 2nd Runner-Up: PHP 50,000.00
🎖️ Consolation (x4): PHP 30,000.00 each

📋 KEY GUIDELINES: ✅ Group Size: 20-40 Dancers + 5-10 Musicians. ✅ Music: LIVE Percussion/Brass only (No canned music!). ✅ Costumes: "DIY Morion" concept (Creative, Recycled, Semi-durable). ✅ Requirement: Must surrender 5 costume sets to the Tourism Office after the event for our heritage advocacy.
