LONG READ AHEAD: I hardly share anything from my journal but I am compelled to share this as I also am a recipient of this kind of love and wish to pass it forward and hope more people can experience it too. (Page contents, corrections and additions are in this caption.)
The most beautiful, most tangible form of love I have seen is THIS: TO FORGIVE AND TO BE FORGIVEN; TO UNDERSTAND AND TO BE UNDERSTOOD.
I can only imagine what joy fills heaven when two estranged individuals reconcile; when past grievances bear no more weight. Not because the hurt is forgotten, the damage undone, but because there is something much more powerful, more captivating than all the hurt this world could inflict — it's love. Strong, tough, enduring, courageous, against-all-odds, LOVE.
That even the most selfish, most terrifying, most hopeless person is not shunned from its presence; but is constantly, tirelessly invited for an encounter. And when the soul finally responds to LOVE, what widened picturesque would finally be visible—that hatred, anger and revenge could no longer blind or claim the person, instead, reflect the same love received, like a mirror struck by a beam of light.
I am one of those hopeless, selfish people in need of a daily encounter with Love. I realized how much I've been preserved inspite of the faults I'd done. So, whenever I experience the feeling and tendency to hate someone who hurt me, I look back and remember how much love and patience I've received, and how much I've been forgiven—and then by God's grace, do the same, pass it on.

4:19 "We love because He first loved us."
