Stop Kissing Babies That Are Not Yours.

This might sound harmless to some people, but for many parents it’s a serious concern.

A baby’s immune system is still developing. Something as simple as a kiss from someone outside the household can pass germs, viruses, or infections that a baby’s tiny body is not ready to fight.

But it’s not only about health.

It’s also about respect.

Not every parent is comfortable with people touching, holding, or kissing their baby. And that boundary should be respected without making the parent feel rude, dramatic, or “overprotective.”

Babies are not public property.
They are not community toys.
They are someone’s whole world.

Just because a baby is cute doesn’t mean you have the right to touch their face, kiss them, or pick them up without asking.

If you love that baby, show it by respecting the parents’ boundaries.

Admire the baby.
Smile at the baby.
Talk to the baby.

But please…

Keep your kisses to yourself.

Because protecting a child’s health and safety will always matter more than protecting someone else’s feelings.

Respect the parents. Respect the baby.
