ڈیرنکیو (Derinkuyu) کے زیرِ زمین شہر کی انجینئرنگ، خاص طور پر اس کا ہوا کا نظام (ventilation) اور دفاعی حکمتِ عملی، 3000 سال گزرنے کے باوجود آج کے ماہرین کو بھی حیران کر دیتی ہے۔
وینٹیلیشن (ہوا کا نظام)
اس قدیم شہر کا ہوا کا نظام خالصتاً فزکس کے اصولوں پر مبنی تھا، جس میں کسی بجلی یا مشینری کی ضرورت نہیں تھی:
شافٹس کی تعداد: شہر میں تازہ ہوا کی فراہمی کے لیے 50 بڑی مین شافٹس اور تقریباً 15,000 مائیکرو شافٹس بنائی گئی تھیں۔
ذہین ڈیزائن: ان مائیکرو شافٹس کی چوڑائی محض 10 سینٹی میٹر تھی، لیکن انہیں خاص زاویوں (angles) پر اس طرح ڈیزائن کیا گیا تھا کہ قدرتی ہوا کا بہاؤ اوپر سے نیچے 18ویں منزل تک برقرار رہے۔
کامیابی: یہ نظام اتنا پائیدار ہے کہ آج بھی اس کی 8ویں منزل پر تازہ ہوا باآسانی پہنچتی ہے۔
دفاعی نظام (Defense System)
ڈیرنکیو کو ایک ناقابلِ تسخیر قلعہ بنانے کے لیے درج ذیل دفاعی تراکیب استعمال کی گئیں:
پتھر کے بھاری دروازے: ہر سرنگ کے دہانے پر 500 کلوگرام (آدھا ٹن) وزنی ڈسک نما پتھر کے دروازے نصب تھے۔ ان کی خاص بات یہ تھی کہ انہیں صرف اندر سے بند یا کھولا جا سکتا تھا؛ باہر سے انہیں دھکیل کر کھولنا ناممکن تھا۔
سوراخ والا ڈیزائن: ان دروازوں کے عین درمیان میں ایک چھوٹا سوراخ تھا، جس کے ذریعے اندر موجود محافظ دشمن کو دیکھ سکتے تھے یا ضرورت پڑنے پر تیر چلا سکتے تھے۔ تاریخ میں ذکر ملتا ہے کہ امیر تیمور جیسی عظیم فوج بھی ایک چھوٹے سوراخ اور ایک تیر انداز کی وجہ سے اندر داخل نہ ہو سکی۔
تنگ سرنگیں: شہر کی سرنگیں اتنی تنگ بنائی گئی تھیں کہ وہاں سے ایک وقت میں صرف ایک ہی شخص گزر سکتا تھا (Single file entry)۔ اس طرح دشمن کی ہزاروں کی فوج کا مقابلہ محض ایک محافظ کر سکتا تھا۔
پانی کا کنٹرول: یہاں 55 میٹر گہرا کنواں موجود تھا۔ دفاعی چال کے طور پر، زیرِ زمین رہنے والے لوگ نیچے سے پانی کی سپلائی کاٹ سکتے تھے، تاکہ اوپر موجود حملہ آور فوج پیاسی رہے جبکہ اندر موجود لوگوں کو پانی ملتا رہے۔
خفیہ راستے: اس شہر کے 600 سے زیادہ داخلی راستے تھے جو عام گھروں کے صحنوں یا نجی کمروں میں چھپے ہوئے تھے، جس کی وجہ سے باہر کی دنیا کو معلوم ہی نہیں ہوتا تھا کہ نیچے ایک پورا شہر آباد ہے۔
یہ انجینئرنگ اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ اس دور کے لوگوں نے اپنی بقا کے لیے زمین کی جیولوجی (Geology) کا 3,000 years old secret city

قدیم دیوقامت مخلوقات (جائنٹس) اور مذہبی صحیفوں کے درمیان تعلق کو سمجھنے کے لیے "بک آف جائنٹس" (Book of Giants) اور بائبل و قرآن کے حوالے انتہائی اہم ہیں۔ یہ تعلق درج ذیل نکات سے واضح ہوتا ہے:
بک آف جائنٹس کی دریافت: 1947 میں بحیرہ مردار (Dead Sea) کے قریب قمران کے غاروں سے قدیم اسکرولز ملے، جن میں "بک آف جائنٹس" بھی شامل تھی۔ یہ کتاب تیسری صدی قبل مسیح میں لکھی گئی تھی اور اس کا براہِ راست تعلق بک آف انوک (حضرت ادریس علیہ السلام) سے ہے۔
نیفلم (Nephilim) کا تصور: بائبل کی کتاب "جینیسس" (Genesis 6:1-4) میں نیفلم کا ذکر ہے جو اس دور میں زمین پر موجود تھے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق، یہ ان 200 شیطانوں یا فرشتوں (واچرز) کی اولاد تھے جنہوں نے انسانی عورتوں سے شادیاں کی تھیں۔ یہ نیفلم دیوقامت تھے اور ان کا قد بہت زیادہ بتایا جاتا ہے۔
ممنوعہ علوم کا پھیلاؤ: ان دیوقامت مخلوقات نے انسانوں کو ایسے ممنوعہ علوم سکھائے جن کی انہیں ضرورت نہیں تھی، جیسے جادو، ستارہ شناسی (Astrology)، اور میک اپ کا استعمال۔
اسلامی صحیفوں میں ذکر: قرآن مجید کی سورۃ الفجر (آیت 6-8) میں قومِ عاد (ارم) کا ذکر ملتا ہے، جو ستونوں والے تھے اور جن جیسا کوئی ملک میں پیدا نہیں ہوا تھا۔ ذرائع بتاتے ہیں کہ قومِ عاد اور قومِ ثمود کے لوگوں کے قد 90 فٹ تک پہنچتے تھے۔
طوفانِ نوح سے تعلق: بک آف جائنٹس کے مطابق، جب ان جائنٹس نے زمین پر فساد برپا کر دیا اور انسانوں و جانوروں کو کھانا شروع کیا، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے دنیا کو اس فساد سے پاک کرنے کے لیے طوفانِ نوح بھیجا۔
یاجوج و ماجوج: بعض مبصرین کے مطابق یاجوج و ماجوج، جو حضرت نوح علیہ السلام کی اولاد میں سے ہیں، کا شمار بھی ان دیوقامت مخلوقات میں کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ قازقستان کے پہاڑوں میں ملنے والی ایک بڑی دیوار کو بھی بعض لوگ یاجوج و ماجوج کی دیوار سے تعبیر کرتے ہیں۔
مختصراً یہ کہ قدیم صحیفے ان دیوقامت مخلوقات کی موجودگی کی تصدیق کرتے ہیں اور انہیں انسانی تاریخ میں فساد اور غیر معمولی طاقت کی علامت کے طور پر پیش کرتے ہیں۔
