Al Mizan Market ,the market was built in 2018 by Rawalpindi Development Authority on the land of Supreme Court Staff Colony, on Sarwar Road ,Raheemabad Road connecting with Old Airport Road. Al Mizan Market provided an opportunity for the people of surrounding areas, to buy fresh produce items under one roof. Al Mizan Market remained a Shopping hub for shoppers due to hotels ,Mechanic Shops ,Pharmacy, Lubricants Shops etc but eventually. it fell victim to the vagaries of time and due to very high Rent. Al Mizan Market used to be very famous and every Saturday was no less than a Mela. But now it does not even have customers due to high Rents. Many Shopkeepers have died for not paying high Rent. In the last decade , most of Shopkeepers have left this market because of high Rent.It is only market in the City that offered a lot of space for parking vehicles.For the last ten years Al Mizan Foundation are not paying any heed to improve the condition of the Market. There is a water and Sanitation problem in the market and the Shopkeepers had arranged on their own.
