Green Leafy vegetables are a source of Vitamin A, Iron, and other nutrients too. Green intake is important for everyone.
Being a Vegan, I understand the importance of Iron in our body. For girls, iron content in our body is very important too . Since I don’t eat non-veg , Vegetarian food is the only source of iron to my body. I prefer fruits , green veggies (including leafy ones) , nuts etc. now.
So there you go..
It all started two years back…….
I never used to like eating Green leafy vegetables.
But then, when your mom cooks and everyone start saying ,” Eat this beta, its healthy” , and you start by saying, “ Na, mumma rehnedo please..meine healthy nahi hona. Mein pehle se healthy hu.”
Huh! Dude, believe me , someday you gonna regret of what you didn’t listened to .
I too regretted!
When I had irregular periods. Sometimes I never used to have periods for straight 3 months, after which I used to have severe pain in the pelvic region. That time I didn’t understood from where I used to have the pain and how. Irregularity became common day by day. I used to have periods after 3–4 months. This continued, and I never paid much attention to that.
One fine day, I was sitting Idle and suddenly I had pain in my stomach, and also in the pelvic area too and after having p*e, I was unable to stand. The pain was so severe that I wasn’t able to stand, move. I then noticed that there’s something wrong. I need to get a checkup. After two days, I went to the doctor and explained whatever problems I had faced. My doctor told me that, get your tests done we will get an idea about it. She told me that the pain might be because of the lack of iron present in my body. And also because of not taking enough water. I did my Blood test and the Urine test, after which I came to know that I have insufficient Iron in my body and due to which I am not having regular periods.
The Doctor said, “ Eat Green Leafy vegetables and drink 4–5 litres of water everyday.” Also she gave me some medicines.
That’s when I started eating Green veggies(including leafy ones ) and now I drink sufficient water .
Green Leafy Vegetables are rich in iron and other nutrients. I recommend you to eat green leafy vegetables.
And now when I have my lunch or dinner with everyone. I ask my mom to serve me all the curries and also I regret about the same. ‘Cuz it was my mom who told me to eat and I never bothered of whatever she said.
EAT HEALTHY, STAY HEALTHY
