The latest nutrition guidance shifts focus toward whole, real foods — especially high-quality proteins, healthy fats, vegetables, fruits and whole grains, while calling for much less added sugar and ultra-processed foods.

🥩 Protein isn't optional—it’s essential and should be central to every meal.
🥑 Get healthy fats from real foods, not factory labs.
🥦 Fruits & veggies: go for whole, fresh, diverse, and organic when possible.
✅ Whole grains are best in their natural, unprocessed form.

🍳 Protein & healthy fats are now emphasized more than simple carbs.
🥦 Veggies & fruits remain essential for vitamins, fiber and phytonutrients.
🌾 Whole grains should still be part of a balanced plate.

🚫 Try to reduce added sugars, soda and processed snacks.
