Avoid Dialysis – Protect Your Kidneys Before It’s Too Late!

Your kidneys work 24/7 to keep your body clean.

A few smart food choices can save you from big health problems later.

Eat More (Kidney-Friendly Foods):

Oats, red grapes, lemon, broccoli, garlic, asparagus, vitamins, ginger, eggplant, parsley, chia seeds, bell peppers, cucumber, cherries & probiotics.

These foods help detox the body, reduce inflammation, and support healthy kidney function.

Avoid (Kidney-Stressing Foods):

Painkillers (NSAIDs), yogurt, alcohol, dairy foods, red meat, sugar, excess salt, processed foods, eggs, sugary foods, high-purine foods & too much fish.

These increase toxin load and can speed up kidney damage.

Kidney Rule:

Healthy food today = Healthy kidneys tomorrow.

Take care of your kidneys—

Choose better food, stay hydrated, and protect yourself from future dialysis.

*iron-deficiency anemia*

Infants, young children, teenage girls, and adults are at risk for iron-deficiency anemia. Full-term infants are born with enough iron stores to last four to six months. A premature infant is at even greater risk for iron-deficiency anemia.

Baby foods and cereals are fortified with iron to help prevent iron deficiency in young children. Underweight teens or teenage girls who have heavy monthly periods are at increased risk for iron-deficiency anemia. Women of child- bearing age are also at risk. Pregnant women are prone to anemia due to the increased need for iron during pregnancy. A supplement that is higher in iron may be prescribed for pregnant women. Internal bleeding can lead to iron- deficiency anemia due to blood loss. Clients who have undergone kidney dialysis or gastric bypass surgery are also at an increased risk. Treatments include dietary changes and supplements, medicines, and surgery.
