We started Avo & Co., a fresh produce subscription box with the concept of "A Wow veg box with the Best add-ons". Both of us had served our apprenticeship in the fresh produce industry a few years ago. And well, we couldn’t stay away. We like to deal with things that have “soul” if you will. Things that can make people happy and have a grin wider and brighter than the Sun. And this is what we are
going for with Avo & Co. We often used to hear about our customers not being sure about what fruits/veg were in season, or that they were so bored of their weekly menu. We would then rush to their side, putting samples into their mouth. Because there are produce out there, that we strongly believe that each person should try at least once in their lifetime. (And we believe that each item should be nicely ripened, and have its day, its flavor. Its flavor and the efforts of its environment should not be ruined by harvesting it ahead of time.) But Wow fruits and veg is not enough on its own. We feel that of course it should go with the nicest aged cheese and the most flavorful of meat. And we prefer to bring more of those with a good background, non of that unethical farming-antibiotic bingeing stuff. That's why we are introducing our Best add-ons to you. We want you to be wowed when you receive your boxes, and for you and your family to have a grin brighter than the sun. :)
