On Friday, October 25, 2024, the remaining soul of Mamadu Guriseu Jalloh, tragically killed along with his cow in Sella Limba Chiefdom, Karene District, was laid to rest. This somber ceremony took place in Makeni, Sierra Leone, with thousands of mourners attending from across the nationβs five regions and the diaspora to pay their respects.
His remains were prayed over at Wusum Stadium, followed by burial at the Makeni Main Cemetery. The occasion was a testament to the unity and support within the Fullah community, with significant contributions from the Council of Fullah Tribal Heads, led by Chief Alhaji Mohamed Saj Jalloh, the Fullah Progressive Union (FPU), Tabital Pulaaku, the Sierra Leone Livestock Rearers Organization, security forces, and local authorities. Their collective efforts ensured that Mamadu Guriseu Jalloh received a respectful and honorable burial and continued the pursuit of justice in his name.
