President Salva Kiir Mayardit has delivered his Easter Message, calling on South Sudanese to embrace peace, unity, and reconciliation during this sacred season.

In his address, the President highlighted the significance of Easter, describing it as a time of reflection, sacrifice, and renewal, reminding citizens that hope is never lost even in difficult times.

He compared the nation’s struggles to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, expressing confidence that South Sudan will rise from its challenges through faith, patience, and collective effort.

President Kiir urged all citizens to:

Forgive one another

Strengthen national unity

Commit to lasting peace and development

He concluded by wishing South Sudanese and Christians worldwide a peaceful and joyful Easter celebration, filled with renewed hope for the nation.
