OPINION | The president of Warrap State Peace Tournament in Juba, Mr. Deng Dut Parek, shared his personal opinion on the goalposts debate between Aweil West and Yirol West after 90 minutes of goalless play.
Title: Yirol West Vs Aweil West paused penalties
By: Deng Dut Parek, Personal opinion
This is the second time in less than a month that a match involving Yirol West has slept unfinished because of one Goal Keeper with the same attitude to do with goal post issue. The first match was unnecessary abandoned with Yirol West leading 1-0 till the next day and were Beaten when the bees turn things around and stung them out of Buluk stadium
Today a history has been made in South Sudan for a competitive match to sleep unfinished because the same goalkeeper who was the captain refused to follow the refereeβs orders by deciding on which goal position side to take penalties.
We are all watching the outcome of the official communication but I will wonder what will stop Aweil West from heading straight to quarterfinals of BCPT.
My personal opinion,
Yirol West 0-3 Aweil West on penalties.
This is on assumption that Aweil West have scored three penalties against nothing from Yirol West which means three 3οΈβ£ goals are enough in term of 5-5 first penalties in which Yirol West declined to take one. Winners Aweil West
