Marriage has nothing to do with Love. Love is just a cover up used by people to hide their true agenda. Here are some of the Reasons people get Married.
1. Alliance
If you look back at the human history, you will find out marriage was only for wealthy people and Royalties. Marriage was used to unity kingdoms, nations and wealthy families to maintain or grow their power, status and wealthy. In the current times we can also see this with Arranged Marriages practiced within some cultures.
2. Religion
Most of religions condemns or shames having children born out of marriage. Therefore, you see most people trying to get marriage before they have children out of fear or what other people will call or view their children. In the old day’s children born out of marriage were called bastards.
3. S*x
Yes, s*x. In most religions having s*x before marriage is highly condemned and shamed. So, some people actual get marriage so they may have regular s*x. Also, some people don’t believe in having s*x before marriage and the only way to have s*x with them you must be marriage first.
4. Business
Most marriage are business transaction that both people involved are aware of, or only one is. This when one partner provides support, security and resources while the other provides comfort, entertainment, domestic duties, s*x etc. This is when one person chooses the other only for what they can benefit from them in the long run. Example financial security, status, citizenship, Green card, lifetime financial or child support after the divorce etc.
5. For the sake of unplanned born child
Some people only get married because of the unplanned pregnancy and for the sack of the child future to be raised with both parents. While other use pregnancy to trap a partner into marrying them because they know the benefits of being married to them or for their own selfish agenda.
6. Scared to be Alone or due to Social pressure and Peer pressure.
Some people only get married because they are scared to be alone for the rest of their lives. While others only get married due to social pressure and peer pressure. In some Asian countries women who are not married by the age of 27 or 30 are called Leftover.
7. Status
Some people just get married for the status, It’s like a competition to them. You can easily spot this on social media where they keep posting about their amazing marriage life style and also their wedding photos 1 or 2 years after just to reminds people how big and expensive the wedding was. Also how expensive their wedding ring is and how happy they pretend to be together.
ITS REALLY HARD FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE TRULY IN LOVE TO GET MARRIED.
