What’s for dinner tonight? After a little debate we decided to go with an Everly favorite Spaghetti with Scaffetta's Gourmet Foods Pasta Sauce which you can find at the market. We also added Lovera's Market Tomato Basil Sausage to the ground which you can also find at the market.

Keep an eye out tomorrow evening we will be having a Valentine’s Day Bundle that will be available for pickup this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For those of you wanting to cook at home for your Valentine.

This is a great little bookstore and she has thousands of books. We could spend hours there. I had given my copy of Dr. Norman Vincent Peale's The Power of Positive Thinking to a friend and needed another copy. She not only had that one but his book, You Can if You Think You Can as well. Bought them both at really basement bargain prices. Go there and get lost in the magic of written words. Nothing compares to holding a book in your hand as opposed to an electronic reader.

Join us for our Open House Saturday, February 2nd from 10 am until 5 pm. We will have book specials, door prizes and refreshments. Hope to see you there!

Stuffed Mushrooms with Axis burger from a hunt at Bennett Oak Creek Ranch, mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs & seasoned with our favorite Scaffetta's seasoning (available on our website SmalltownHunterTV.com)

I will tell you basically how to make my hot egg sandwiches. They are basically a Denver omlet mixture cooked like scrambled eggs rather than an omlet.

Ingredients

eggs
diced onions
diced green bell peppers
diced pimentos
diced jalapeno to your taste
cubed or diced ham or bacon(cooked bacon)
grated mozzeralla cheese
optional is mushrooms and I used the small can of pieces and stems
* I would sautee/ the onions, bell peppers and jalapenos and mushrooms before I add them to the mix.

Mix everything together and cook as you would scrambled eggs
Season with salt and pepper to your taste

I used french bread (or hogie rolls do just as well) brushed with melted butter and granulated garlic toasted on a flat grill or skillet.

At Luigi's Pizza in Edmond I would put the Italian salad on the sandwich and unfortunately I can't give you the recipe for that because it is a closely held secret family recipe. It is still being used at my sister's Luigi's Bistro in Moore. We did at one time have it in our Scaffetta's Gourmet Foods catalog but because of some of the ingredients it had to be kept refrigerated and it got to be too much of a hassle to maintain temperatures through delivery times and we stopped offering it to our retail stores. I will tell you it is an apple cider vinegar and oil based dressing and you might be able to google a suitable substitute.

Look for our display in the Edmond Homeland and Natural Grocers stores and we're on the shelves at Whole Foods Market in OKC as well.

This is our display in Lonnie's in downtown Anadarko. Sherrie does a great job. Her store is jamb packed full of all kinds of goodies from bling jewelry to furniture to nice clothes.
