I hate to post the sale of the Catbird, but most of you know already that we are retiring from our wonderful years running the Catbird Griddle. MMWAH to you all. Sure wish someone would take up the Catbird locally. We will discount the price 15% for anyone willing to commit to bringing the Catbird to the Angelica Farmers Market every Saturday next summer of 2018.

The LAST Pancake Breakfast sold off the Catbird...to two former Mayors of Angelica. Yesterday was a such a happy reunion with so so many of the Catbird's fans from near and far. Thank you to all of you who came to send us off into our new projects; "Alexander and Angelica" history project for Lucia...see the FB page of the same name, and "The Angelica Mill" for Sam, milling Tartary Buckwheat flour. Here's a special sincere thank you from us and all of you to our pancake flipper Tracy Cassidy, also known as Editor Cassidy of the Booster News and new Editor of the Allegany County Historical Society's Newsletter. Tracy's humor and fun attitude kept the Catbird going most of these 9 years. We'll all look forward to some new owners stepping up! Let's hope they are local, so the Catbird can stay around. If you want some pancakes,

The bacon cook is sho' good lookin'
Now, flippin' pancakes is and art,
and our pancake flipper's doin' her part
You can get whipped cream and berries.....or you could buy this rig and be in the cherries.
Yes, the Catbird could stay here.
If you're int'rested talk to Sam and Lucia Beer.
They can teach you the whole bid'ness,
all the recipes and the ways they did it.
Don't forget our BLT's.
People come back for 'em

Ahhh it's true. This is last season we will be running the Catbird. We're open Saturday and of course for Angelica's Harvest Festival 9/24, but then this sweet pancake stand is for sale. Our devoted pancake flipper of many years has written this song...
