Just Ron Chocolate Handcrafted Artisan Chocolate Just Ron Chocolate is an Artisan chocolate that is made with couverture chocolate that comes from sustainable supplier.

Couverture is of the highest quality chocolate available, containing extra cocoa butter content as high as 32-39%. This high percentage of cocoa butter, the natural fat contained in the cacao pod, contributes to the chocolate’s luxurious mouth-feel and velvety texture. Everything that bears JustRon Chocolate consist of hand-selected ingredients including organic items when possible. All of our products are produced and packaged by hand in small batches.

Chocolate covered Kix, up close and not cropped. We shoot dragées in the clear box with a hard shadow because that is honestly what they look like to us — small, jewel-toned, worth the case they come in.

That pyramid grid is our crosshatch — the same pattern inside every bonbon box and on the dragée sticker — except this version is made of chocolate.

Six flavors, six colors, one pattern: Strawberry, Salted Pretzel, Matcha Cookie, Cookies and Cream, Cinnamon Brown Sugar, Cacao Nibs. Nobody had to design this. It comes out of the mould that way.

Back-to-school season hits different when your whole business started as a class project. 🎒

Culinary school. One assignment. Then a pandemic showed up, the restaurant world stopped, and the assignment turned into a mould, a scale and a very small kitchen. Everything you have ever ordered from me traces back to that.

It’s Ron’s birthday! 🎂

Every great chocolate starts with someone who believes it should be better, kinder, and made with real care. That someone is our founder, Ron.

Today we’re celebrating the person behind Just Ron Chocolate: the ideas, the late nights, the sweetness he brings to everything he touches (literally and figuratively).

Thank you for building something we’re proud to be part of, Ron. Here’s to another year of good chocolate and even better memories.

Season restarts in eleven days, so this month’s test batch is really an audition. 🌿

Cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, cloves, allspice, peppercorns, steeped straight into the cream. No matcha this round — this is the other direction I’ve been chasing, something warm and a little strange, closer to a mulling spice than a normal ganache.

Right now it’s just resting, wrapped on the counter, doing nothing I can film. That’s most of what testing actually looks like.

I don’t know yet if this earns a spot in the fall lineup. Tell me if a spiced ganache like this belongs in the box, yes or no, and I am counting.
