A Message from Roots & Harvest Community Market
This is not an easy post to write.
After much prayer, conversation, and consideration, we want to let our community know that **this will be the final week of the Roots & Harvest Community Market in Ash Grove.** Our last day will be Saturday—or sooner if we sell out.
What started as a vision—to create Missouri’s first Farm Stop, a place where farmers could set their own prices and the community could access truly local food—became something real because of all of you.
Because of you:
* Dozens of farmers and makers found a place to grow their businesses
* Thousands of dollars went directly back into the hands of local producers
* A small town became part of something bigger—a movement toward rebuilding our local food system
This has never just been a store. It has been a proof of concept. And that proof is strong.
While this chapter is closing, the mission is not.
We are actively working toward the next phase—expanding this model into a larger, more sustainable system that can better serve farmers, families, and our region. What we’ve learned here is shaping something even bigger.
What this means for this week:
* We will be open Thursday through Saturday (or until sold out)
* Come stock up on your favorite local goods
* Help us clear out inventory and support our vendors one last time in this space
If you’ve ever bought something here, told a friend, volunteered, prayed for us, or simply believed in what we were trying to do—thank you.You were part of something that matters.
This isn’t the end. It’s a transition.
