To those in the Haitian community who felt the need to attack me, leaving and sending disgusting messages to my business, and even promoting a boycott against it due to my political beliefs:
My commentary on a presidential candidate—who, by the way, was never elected by the people having young women twerking at a rally is simply this: it’s wrong. If saying that makes me “not Haitian,” then so be it. In addition, you cannot control other people’s thoughts, opinions, or speech just because you don’t like them. While I don’t owe anyone an explanation for being a Conservative Republican, I would have been
(and still is) open to a conversation about political views if approached respectfully. However, what I will not do is bend the knee to any man but to Jesus Christ and Him alone.
