Causey’s Original BBQ Sauce is a small family recipe that traces its roots back to 1985, when my dad, John Causey, created it for barbecue competitions in South Georgia.
What started as a competition sauce became a family favorite. Around the cookers, we’d often joke that sometimes the sauce deserved as much credit as the meat.
Tangy, vinegar-based, and made for pork, chicken, ribs, and more.
