Meatgeeks BBQ Meatgeeks BBQ is the merging of my technical geekiness, my desire to cook great food, and the smoky goodness of barbecue.

From competition cooking, event cooking and just backyard feasts…the science of barbecue is most of what makes me smile when I cook. Meatgeeks BBQ was a name I and a group of friends came up with over 10 years ago. We first were going to start a competition team, but life's journey has curves and instead I started a Barbecue Sauce company called Deep South Sauce Company that was my passion for 7+

years. That chapter has ended and i am back to doing cooking BBQ at large competition and events with many of my BBQ family and public companies. So I'm back to MeatGeeksBBQ so let's get focused on The Science of 'Que!

Thanks to B&B Charcoal for great flavor and smoke from the Competition Blend pellets that we used on our Grilla Grills chimp.

The color and bend were perfect and I’m sure the flavor will be the star of the show!!

We hope everyone has had a safe Memorial Day weekend and found time between honoring our fallen heroes to cook up some amazing BBQ for their friends and families.
