Order online or in-store! Ascend Area Market (ASAM) is committed to making organic and fresh foods accessible to local communities. Understanding the rising challenges many individuals face when choosing healthier food options due to cost, ASAM bridges this gap by offering high-quality organic products at affordable prices. Through our farm-to-market approach, we ensure customers receive fresh, locally sourced produce, which not only supports local farmers and suppliers but also positively impacts the local economy and promotes sustainable agricultural practices. Our seating area serve as a communal hub where community members can come together, share meals, and engage in meaningful conversations over freshly brewed coffee, smoothie & tea sourced from local roasters and brewers with freshly based desserts and sandwiches. By fostering this sense of community and breaking down barriers to healthy food access, Ascend Area Market creates a welcoming space where everyone—regardless of income—feel at home and empowered.

We recently shared the news of our Store closure amidst unsustainable challenges. This decision, though difficult, was a necessary step after navigating months of financial and operational burdens stemming from a franchise partnership that didn't meet expectations.

We want to take a moment to thank our incredible customers, vendors, and community partners who have stood by us every step of the way. We also appreciate the encouraging comments and messages we have received in these past days.

Your support, kindness, and loyalty have meant the world, and it’s because of you that our Store at North Lamar was more than just a store — it was a gathering place, a source of warmth, and a hub of local spirit. Every visit, every purchase, and every kind word has contributed to the vibrant spirit of our Store.

Though this closure marks the end of one chapter, it also paves the way for exciting new beginnings. We are deeply grateful to every person who helped shape our journey.
Hence, we look forward to your continued support as we sell out our existing inventory.

With a heavy heart, we announce the closure of our Austin Store at 5629 N Lamar Blvd. Our last day of operation will be August 3, 2025.

This decision comes after months of navigating unsustainable challenges tied to a franchise partnership that did not live up to its promise. Despite our team's relentless efforts, the financial and operational burden has become too great to continue.

To our customers, vendors, and community - you have been the heart of Ascend Area Market, and we are deeply thankful for your support. This is not the end, but a necessary pause as we prepare for what’s next.

During this incredibly difficult time in Texas, we are praying for communities impacted by this disaster.

We are praying for every survivor—those injured, those displaced, and those who witnessed unimaginable destruction. May strength, hope, and support rise from this tragedy, and may the community unite to aid one another in healing.

To the tireless first responders and search and rescue teams working diligently on the ground, we wish you strength for this period. May those missing be found and returned safely to their families.
