Long Farms Long Farms is a diverse farm that is operated by the Long family. We are proud to be your LOCAL FARMER and take pride in being stewards of the land.

Long Farms is a family owned and operated farm which is currently raising it's 5th generation. The farm spans over several hundreds of acres and is quite diversified in nature. The farm produces cotton, peanuts, corn, hay, and beef cattle, along with a 100+ acre u-pick vegetable operation. The u-pick is opened seasonally. Spring Season typically starts mid May and runs to mid July. Fall Season sta

rts the beginning of September and typically runs to Thanksgiving. Over 30 different varieties of fruits and vegetables are grown on location, accessible to the public for picking. There is also selections of fresh from the field produce up at the barn for those not interested, or unable, to pick. All u-pick items are sold by the 5 gallon bucket (buckets are supplied for use). Mix vegetable buckets permitted. The u-pick serves as a great source for farm fresh produce for people from all walks of life. Whether you are a canner/preserver looking for abundant fresh veggies to can or a parent/adult wanting to see and know where your food is coming from, Long Farms is the place for you. It's a place that has a warm and inviting atmosphere where you can even meet the farmer who planted the crops. Summer Season 2026 is officially over!

Thank you to all of our loyal customers and new faces that have found us for the first time this season! The sales barn and UPICK are seasonally closed.

Please know with every purchase, big or small, that you are supporting USA grown produce and the American farmer. Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for making all our hard work worth it ๐ŸŒฑ

We look forward to seeing everyone this upcoming Fall. Fall Season 2026 will begin in mid-late September. Look out for updates along the way as we grow our second crop of the year.

Sales barn and UPICK fields will be closed starting Thursday, July 16th. However we will continue with our melon truck people, see below โฌ‡๏ธ

๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰ Individuals interested in ๐Ÿ›ป large loads of melons.
Large load is considered anything over 50 melons.
Please call OR TEXT our office number to schedule pick up.
Scheduling is needed seeing as the sales barn will be closed to the public starting July 16th.

Wednesday and Thursday still have available spots for pick up. Friday-Sunday we will not be able to load out trucks. We will resume loading out on Monday, July 20th.

Alright, donโ€™t panic.

But please know you have been warned.

That this Saturday, July 11th will be our LAST SATURDAY for our Summer season.

Planting season for our Fall produce is already underway and we are itching to turn some more dirt over here in the coming weeks to get everything ready to go again.

All UPICK IS $10 a bucket when you bring your own 5 gallon bucket. $14 when you use our buckets and we have to bag them up.

๐Ÿ”ธWe have opened up our commercial patches of tomatoes and peppers for upickers ๐Ÿ”ธ A lot more options for picking tomatoes, bells, jalapeรฑo, Serrano, poblanos.

Sales barn and UPICK will be open first part of next week until we decide we are picked out.

We still have boxes of tomatoes and peaches. See fliers above for current pricing. Beef is still plentiful. We still have all the colors when it comes to melons ๐Ÿ‰

โ€ผ๏ธ ATTENTION Melon Guys: we will continue to load out melons past our sales barn closing dates. We have melons for the next couple of weeks for truck loads. More info to come on contact info to get scheduled for pick up. We have a fresh field of sugar babies and 720s.

**This ONLY applies to customers that bring their own marked 5 gallon bucket** OR use our buckets BUT bring your own container to dump them in once they have been measured out.

Includes all UPICK. Tomatoes, eggplant, okra, tomatillos, peppers.

Peas and butter beans are dried up for the most part.
