We’ve had a lot of new faces recently so to those that are new here’s the latest buzz! 🐝

We are Alex and Jack! 👋🏼 Our friendship developed after our wives met in nursing school (so you can thank them for all this honey!) 😜 🍯

On top of beekeeping, we both also work full time jobs and have had some additions to our families. Within the past month Jack welcomed his second baby boy with his wife Jamie, while Alex is welcoming his second baby girl in the winter with his wife Michelle. Life has been busy!

This is our second summer of beekeeping and are happy to say our first summer we successfully harvested thousands of pounds of delicious raw Barneveld harvested honey! It was better than we could have ever expected and were so elated with the quality and taste! 🍯

Beekeeping has been a major journey, one filled with lots of trial and error. Through it all, we have enjoyed every second of it (bee stings and all 😅). We are so grateful for our community who has supported us, with the local stores who have put our products on their shelves, to the consumers who have purchased our honey. We appreciate all of you! 🙏🏼

If you would like to give our honey a try, we are located at any W***y Street co-op store, Miller and Sons in Mt. Horeb and a couple local stores. As spring sets in and grass starts to grow, keep in mind No/Low Mow May!

This initiative to not mow in May has been proven to help pollinators find substantial food sources. After it was first introduced to American lawn owners in Appleton, they saw a 400% increase in bee populations.

Each community is different. Check your local guidelines to see if your area is participating in Low Mow May or if they’re entirely suspending mowing regulations for May. Some areas may require registration.
