Throwback Thursday!

Check out this old photo of Papa Brim and our now CEO, Michael, celebrating our 20th year in business with a new truck!

Papa and Michael ran our Memphis area distribution division. They took us from being a rag tag group of distributors to the premier snack food of the Midsouth.

We honor Papa’s memory every year with the Paul “Papa” Brimhall award given to the team member that goes above and beyond to help the team achieve its goals.

Michael started here as a route driver and was one of the best we’ve ever had. Papa hand picked Michael to be his successor. And when Papa retired, he told his son, Terry (our founder) that he should consider bringing Michael into the production side of the business as well. Today, he is now our CEO.

This past weekend we replaced one of our popcorn popper! This old popper helped us pop over 20million pounds of popcorn in her lifetime!!!

If you were to put that in our three ounce bags and lined them up end to end, it would wrap around the earth 1.8 times!

Wow. God has been good to us. It’s hard to believe how far we have come since our first factory - an old ham smoking factory just outside Memphis.

Our founders, Terry and Becki, loving referred to the first factory as a “5 year labor camp.”

They built a new factory on a corner of our current location in 1987. Since then, we have continued to grow and expand. We now occupy the entire campus and have a secondary facility in South Carolina.
