A Rainy Week at Vibrance Farmstead
Mother Nature has certainly been keeping us on our toes!
After several rounds of heavy rain across Matagorda County, parts of the farm are holding quite a bit of water. While the rain is always appreciated, too much at one time can create challenges for both crops and field conditions. As any farmer knows, farming requires patience, flexibility, and a little faith in the weather forecast.
Despite the standing water, we're continuing to monitor the fields and assess conditions as they dry out. The recent rainfall will help replenish soil moisture and support future growth, but for now, we're waiting for the fields to become accessible again.
This is just another reminder that every Bloom Bag begins with the hard work of growing food and working alongside whatever Mother Nature sends our way.
Thank you for supporting Vibrance Farmstead and following along on our journey to provide fresh, locally grown produce to our community.
