We added some new girls to the egg layer flock today! They are busy settling in and making new friends before all going out together.

I also ran into this guy while picking cherry tomatoes!!!

Home grown, raised with love, lamb….its what’s for dinner

Knowing where your food comes from and that it was raised well is such an amazing feeling! Pairing this awesome lamb with carrots from my garden and salad from my salad beds! I even grew that rosemary!!

Don’t forget I have lamb for sale! I also have beef shares and whole frozen chickens for sale!

I’m so proud and excited to now offer a limited number of farm-raised whole chickens and beef shares from Echo’s Run Farm.

So much time, work, and care goes into raising our animals, and it means a lot to me to be able to share a little piece of our farm and family with yours. ❤️

The newest members of Echo’s Run Farm are all settled in! They are still a bit too small to be out in the grass safely, so these freedom rangers start in my big brooding coop!

This is exactly why our family chose to go with Freedom Rangers as our meat birds. The Freedom Rangers do take longer to grow out but it’s worth the time spent. Ours get fed a mix of non GMO soy free organic mix, kitchen scraps, and LOTS of watermelons from my garden 🍉 this time of year as a treat from the heat.

John and I are processing out chickens in the next few days and will have a small amount available for sale. Contact me if you’d like to see and taste the difference in quality happy raised chickens!

It’s been SO hot this week I haven’t had time to post very much! Taking care of all the animals and plants on the farm in this heat is a challenge. But everyone seems to be ok!

A blessed Sunday to you all! I hope everyone is taking the day to reset and prepare for the week to come. What’s on your to do list?

I need to harvest more lettuce and peppers. I also need to make a plan to get my next round of lambs to the processor.

But I really need a nap! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
