We encourage you to get to know our local farmers who grow spring, mid-season, and fall produce to sell fresh from their fields to you.
* The BSG Farmers Market is held outdoors, rain or shine so dress accordingly
* For Patron's safety, due to limited space of moving vehicles during set up times, the market will be closed off for patrons while vendors are pulling in and setting up. The official Market bell rings at 4:00pm on Thursdays, then market is open for patrons. We ask for your cooperation is this matter for the safety of all.
* Sturdy shopping bags or baskets will help you carry your purchases back to your vehicle
* Our busiest times are from 4-6, so plan on coming at 4:00 if you want something special, or later if you'd like to avoid the rush
* Don't hesitate to ask questions! How do you cook it? Where can you find a special ingredient? Scheduled Activities begin at 4:00 that may include
– Taste of the Market... cooking demo and a free tasting with currently available produce (restricted)
– Music at the Market...local musicians performing ,bluegrass, gospel, folk, etc...
