Farming is more then a business or a career... It has been our family's way of life for generations. In 2007 my parents moved the farm to Biglerville Pa.

Country Vittles from Critter Hill Farm LLC is family owned and operated. We have alway been farmers with a variety of critters that we would raise to process for our own family’s consumption. In 2012 my parents and I created Country Vittles to be able to share the bounty from our farm, directly with others that don’t have access to a neighboring farm. Our goal is to provide a resource for you and

your family to experience the true goodness of the naturally high quality of local and honest proteins. This is something that my family and I have had the privileged to know our whole lives. The Meat that we bring with us to markets is the "Real Deal." It comes from the animals we raise on our local farm, so that you can be certain you are getting a truly genuine, healthy and untainted product. Our meats and eggs can only be purchased from us directly, we are not available in stores. We can be shopped online, at several farmer’s markets, or just send us a text or give us a call. About the farm:
My parents originally started Critter Hill Farm in northern Carroll County Maryland. Myself and our extended family is still in the Taneytown/Silver Run area. (outside of Gettysburg) and I moved back to the home I grew up in. We now raise cattle’s, hogs, chickens, goats, turkeys, and rabbits between both locations. Critter Hill Farm is an active member of the Maryland Hereford Association and active volunteers in the 4-H program. The health and welfare of all our animals is our highest priority; to insure that they live happy and healthy lives, on our farm. In addition, we take responsibility to do our part in protecting the environment. Critter Hill Farm follows an active manure management and Nutrient management plan approved by NRCS to help protect the Chesapeake bay and its watershed.
