A Glass of JOY 💕- story…

This one actually started out as a painting just for me. I wanted to paint myself a big, colorful 18” × 24” glass of JOY, filled to the rim with joyful words and since I loved playing with paper dolls growing up, I decided to add a vintage paper doll.

No alcohol required—she just ordered a glass of JOY. 😂

Before I ever shared it, someone spotted it in my studio and asked if they could buy it.

So, of course, before she could leave the nest, I had to add a tiny “Where’s the Chick?” 🐥 so she could officially become a Chick4acause piece.

And just like that, my big glass of JOY found a new home—and helped Chick4acause continue giving back to the UAB Angel Squad and the American Cancer Society Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge. 💕

Apparently JOY goes fast around here. 😂🐥

When life hands you a bottle of JOY…find a straw. And this girl? She’s not sipping politely. She came for the whole bottle of JOY.

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here, but the chicks definitely haven’t been.

Her fabulous orange flower 🌼 started out as part of a donated necklace—a once-loved piece given a new purpose. It’s one of my favorite parts of creating these chicks.

There’s a whole new flock taking over my studio, with lots of new chicks coming to special events. All proceeds are donated to support those impacted by cancer. 💗

More chicks—and more JOY—coming soon. 🐥
