Customer request? Say less. 🍫🍌

A customer asked if I could make a Double Chocolate Chip Banana Bread for her husband’s birthday… so I made it happen!

One thing I really want to start doing more of is special-request desserts — cakes, cookies, breads, cheesecakes and more. I’m not quite ready to fully open that up yet. With no kitchen manager right now, I’m wearing pretty much every hat, and these aren’t desserts coming out of a box. Everything is made from scratch, and there’s a lot of time and work that goes into getting them right.

What I really enjoy is figuring out how to manipulate traditional recipes with better, macro-conscious ingredients without sacrificing the taste. Last year (pictured above), I made a three-tier cake for a bodybuilder who was only 5 weeks out from a show.. I was able to adjust the ingredients enough that it tasted like an actual birthday cake while still fitting into an extremely strict prep diet. That’s the kind of challenge I love.

Whether someone is watching their macros, limiting sugar, or just wants a better alternative to a traditional dessert, I want to create things that give people more options.

Special orders are coming. I just need a little time to get everything in place so I can do them the right way.
