agrowculture A food-tech startup that is leveraging social media and IT to create local food economies.

We use a democratic approach that empowers communities to electronically request or petition for urban farms in their neighborhood as well as elect specific food products. These "petitions" are mapped and made viewable to the world at agrowculture.org, where communities can answer these calls-to-action and purchase urban farming technologies, find funding and eventually sell and market their goods to their neighbors.
