One minute it’s 95 degrees, sunny, and everybody’s outside hiking, kayaking, gardening, or debating whether it’s finally safe to put away the winter jacket.

The next minute?
🌧️ thunderstorm warning
💨 wind advisory
🌡️ temperature drops 35 degrees
🧥 everybody suddenly needs a hoodie

And somehow all of this happened before dinner. 💀

Vermonters know the routine.

You leave Burlington wearing shorts.

Drive toward Stowe and start looking for a jacket.

Head into the Green Mountains and suddenly you’re wondering if that wall of dark clouds is headed directly for your hiking trip.

🍁 Who here is actually Vermont born & raised? 🏔️

Growing up in Vermont means you don’t panic over snow — you just throw on boots, warm up the Subaru, and hope the plow already hit your road.

It means arguing over the best maple syrup like it’s a statewide blood feud, knowing exactly when mud season officially starts, and spotting tourists the second they stop in the middle of the road to photograph fall leaves. 😭

It’s maple creemees in summer, cider donuts in fall, church suppers in tiny towns, and local diners where everybody somehow already knows your order.

It’s mountain roads, covered bridges, old farmhouses, ski towns, and Green Mountain views that still make you stop and stare no matter how many years you’ve lived there. 🏔️🍁

It’s summers at the lake, snowy mornings in Stowe, muddy backroads in March, and small towns where everybody still knows your parents, grandparents, and probably your dog too.

It’s learning to drive through snow before you’re emotionally ready, keeping an ice scraper in the car until May, and somehow experiencing sunshine, fog, snow, and freezing rain all in the same afternoon. 🚜🌧️☀️❄️

Vermont isn’t loud about its beauty.

It’s quiet. Tough. Independent.
