Over the weekend, Angel (one of our hens) was accidentally stepped on by one of the goats and suffered a very severe leg injury. We’ve spent the last several days keeping her comfortable, monitoring her closely, and hoping for improvement.

We took her to the vet today and unfortunately it does appear to be a complete break high up in the leg/hip area with likely nerve damage as well. Surgery is technically possible, but realistically not something we are going to pursue. After her vet appointment, she got a pup cup and lots of extra love.

Right now she is still alert, eating, drinking, and resting comfortably, so for the moment we are continuing supportive care and watching closely to see if she adapts. If her quality of life declines, we will make the humane decision for her when the time comes.

One thing about us is that all of our animals are family to us, no matter how big or small. Angel is one of our friendliest girls and very deeply loved around here.

Goodmorning & happy Saturday! ☀️ We are OPEN until 7pm today!

We’ve been doing a few upgrades to the stand lately and are finally starting to see everything come together! Last night we got the exterior of the stand and the newly added “fence” stained and over the next couple weeks we’ll keep adding more landscaping, flowers and little touches to make the stand feel extra cozy and welcoming.

So excuse the mess while we’re in the middle of bringing our vision to life 🤣🌿

The first picture was taken the day before we opened… and the second picture was taken this morning. Seeing the difference is so crazy to us!

Thank y’all so much for supporting our small family farm stand. Every purchase, share, comment, and visit truly means the world to us. We can’t wait to keep growing with y’all! We have BIG plans.🙌🏼

☀️ FARM STAND SUMMER EVENT?! ☀️

Okay yall… I need honest opinions because I think this could be SO fun!

Since our stand is self serve, we’ve been thinking about doing a little Saturday event this summer so we can meet more of yall face to face!

My 8 year old is determined to have a lemonade stand 😂🍋 so we thought about adding:

•Goat feeding & petting area
•Fun kids games & activities
•Cute photo spots around the stand
•Cozy sitting area to relax, chat, and connect with the community
•Possibly featuring a few other local small businesses/vendors

Nothing huge, just something simple and family friendly for a couple hours one Saturday this summer!

Would yall actually come to something like this?! And what would you want to see there? 👀💛⬇️

My super talented cousin makes all of these by hand — planters, serving trays, and so much more. If it can be made, he can make it!

Fresh sourdough bread is in the oven now and will be stocked after lunchtime.. I’ll keep y’all updated!
