North Harvest CSA We are a small CSA and market farm in Calumet MI. We sell sourdough bread & bakery through our online store on GrownBy (link in bio).

We also are a HipCamp & Harvest Host site during the summer. Book your stay via our link in bio. Our CSA shares are a weekly bag/box of fresh produce starting in June and ending in October (16 weeks). The share will include a variety of vegetables that we grow using natural growing methods. The shares will vary depending on the time of the season as well as crop success. At the Calumet Farmers mar

ket and our farm stand you can also find our farm made apple cider vinegar, sourdough breads, thimbleberry jam, dried chilies and soaps.

🌿🌱 VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: NORTH HARVEST🌱🌿

North Harvest will be offering sourdough bread in several varieties, cinnamon knots, salt blends, apple cider vinegar, and soap at their booth. All value‑added goods and soaps are made right on the farm! They’re hoping to bring additional bakery items as the date gets closer, and possibly some early vegetables as well. If the season cooperates, they may have asparagus and early greens ready to share. (Let us hope!)

Get your fairy wings, mushroom hats, or whatever fanciful dress you can imagine ready! Enter the fairytale world of the Flower Moon Spring Market! Guests will wander between indoor and outdoor stalls brimming with handcrafted treasures, seasonal treats, art, tea, tarot, flowers, and more. The market features picnic space, live music, trinket trading, activities, craft demonstrations, and more. Whimsical attire strongly encouraged but not required.

Celebrate spring with us and support local crafters, makers, and farmers!

We’ve been pretty quiet on social media (taking a break from scrolling has been 💃), but we do want to put out an update for this weekends events. We’ve been working hard on the farm & in the bakery and the season is about to start!

We’ll be at the City of Houghton Locavore Market in this Saturday 5/23 from 1-4pm on the pier (our booth will be near the Portage Library). Then the next day we will be at the Whimsiqueers Spring Market from 1-6pm in the City of Hancock on the Quincey Green.

We’ll have lots of varieties of sourdough (ramp & black pepper will make its yearly appearance), cinnamon knots, baguettes, apple cider vinegar, ramp bundles, and a few other treats. We won’t be doing any preorders but between the two markets we will have lots of product.
We look forward to seeing you this weekend and are excited for a big start to the market season. Who’s ready?!

The sourdough came out super bubbly & crackly today, I wish I baked an extra for myself 🫠.
UPCOMING MARKETS: We will be at the Locavore market on 5/23 from 12-4pm on the pier, and then at the Spring market in Hancock on 5/24 from 1-6pm. It’s back to back markets & we’ll be bringing lots of sourdough bread, cinnamon knots, herbs salts, apple cider vinegar & more.

We are now offering baguettes along with our sourdough bread. We have dubbed them the Calumet Baguette & we hope you enjoy them.
For sourdough we have pecan/cherry, black olive/sun dried cherry tomato (Cherry tomatoes were grown on our farm), 30% rye & plain. Order Tuesday 4/21 for pick up Friday 4/24.
Pick up is offered in Hancock at Small Craft & Frozen Farms Company in Calumet (our driveway/yard has become to muddy for pickup but we’ll move it back to the farm in a few weeks).

We sliced up one of our baguettes & Jake made a tapenade from roasted red peppers we canned last fall, cipollini onions we grew and stored for winter, olives & anchovies.

Fresh loaves from the oven. I’m debating on doing another bake for next week. Our road and driveway are officially trashed due to the spring melt so I won’t be able to have pick up here at the farm. Debating on continuing with just the pick up at in Hancock.

We have two private sites set amongst apple trees, lupines, milkweeds & thimbleberries. Explore the woods surrounding your site, take a stroll through our gardens or sit by the pond and listen to the frogs.
