this page is to keep record for my kids and our friends of the adventures triumphs and failures and how to's of starting and running a homestead. our goal it to eventually go completely off grid and have a self sustaining homestead. i hope that someday when my children are older they will be able to look back on here and remember how much fun hard work and how gratifying it all was. i want them to know that i am doing all of this for them so the can lead a healthier more productive caring life.
