We are disappointed to let everyone know that our planned opening on May 1st has to be rescheduled due to village street construction that I wasn’t aware of. The work is expected to last about 2–3 weeks, and access will be limited, with construction vehicles possibly nearby and road access restricted to local home residents only.

Because of this, we are kindly moving our opening date to May 22 so we can safely and fully welcome everyone. We appreciate your understanding and will update you if anything changes. Thank you always! 💕

*Upcoming Road Closure*
NYS DOT will be closing Walnut St at Reed St on 4/23/2026 for 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting. This is to repair/replace the storm drains and trench drain at the intersection between 6 Reed and 110 Walnut.

The Village has been told that Route 10 (Wheeler/Walnut/Reed) will remain open, but please be cautious as it will be an active work zone.

Residents of upper Walnut St will have access using Highland Place. During construction, Highland and upper Walnut will be local traffic only.

We will provide updates as we receive them.

This is going to be a very active construction season in the Village as we repair the streets that had to be cut for utility repairs and replacements, begin the CDBG funded Phase 1 of the sewer re-lining project, complete the repairs to the Church & Main light that was struck by a semi truck, and (once the NYS budget is finalized and CHIPS funds are allocated) we will finalize and begin this summer's paving plan.

Please be cautious and have patience when driving in and around work zones, as there will be many of them throughout the summer, and some will cause more disruptions than others.

As plans are finalized and contractors scheduled, we will discuss updates in the Village Board meetings and share them here.
