It truly takes a village! 💚

I’ve been out of town for weeks, and thankfully, Savanna Gault-Johnson came to the rescue! I was only home for two days and managed to make a few jars before heading back out. Savanna picked them up, stocked the shelves, and made sure everything was ready to go.

🏁🍓🍍🥒Back from Indy 500 weekend and back to creating!

Camping at the Indy 500 with my favorite people has been a tradition for almost a decade now, and even while I’m away, my brain never fully leaves “smelly pot” mode. My students are actually the ones who started calling my simmer pots “smelly pots,” and I think it is the cutest thing ever. 🥹 With only TWO days of school left, I already know I’m going to miss them so much. ❤️

We brought fresh fruit camping with us, and the leftovers came home for summer scent testing! Today’s dehydrator lineup: strawberries & pineapple & cucumbers🍓🍍

Wow… what a busy and amazing few weeks it has been! 💛

Now that I’ve officially wrapped up the Spring Spectacular in Murphysboro, the Williamson County Flea Market & Vendor Show in Marion, my Mother’s Day sale, Teacher Appreciation Week, and the start of busy season at Packrat’s, I just wanted to say THANK YOU.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, placed an order, shared a post, told a friend, or supported Simply, Katie in any way. Every purchase, kind word, and interaction truly means so much to me.

Watching this little business grow while balancing teaching has been such a rewarding experience, and I couldn’t do it without all of you. Thank you for supporting my small business and allowing me to create something “made simply. loved deeply.” ✨
