Our Story

The Caroga Lake Farmer's Market is part of the Fulton Montgomery Farmers Market Association (FMFMA), a nonprofit organization formed to bring fresh, local foods to our community. It is a 100% PRODUCER market, which means that every product available at the market was grown, raised, or made by its vendor-not purchased for resale.

The Caroga Lake Farmer's Market is open from June through mid-September. Vendors sell bedding plants, fruits and vegetables (in season), baked goods, snacks, eggs, meats (pork and beef, pasture-raised chicken), and seasonal flowers. Some vendors accept WIC/Senior Farmer's Market Nutrition Program coupons.

FMFMA also manages three other local markets: Gloversville Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings at the Elm Street Pavilion, Amsterdam Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings on Church Street, and the Johnstown Farmers Market on Tuesdays in the Sir William Johnson Park.
