Just some final housekeeping before this page is deactivated.
1. The Market is closed and cleared out. (if you missed why, scroll down the page a few posts for the explanation)
2. We are ready to serve your needs at the Fairview Processing plant retail store.
3. If you haven't, "liked" the Cloud's Meats page, please do, for updates and specials.
4. Just like the Market, Cloud's Meats will have fresh steaks daily.
5. We will not be serving sandwiches at the plant, I'm bummed about that too.
6. We are discussing having extended hours at Cloud's Meats that so many found convenient at the Market. Keep an eye out for those updates. Current hours are listed on the Cloud's Meats page.

The Cloud family has made the difficult decision to close the Carthage Meat Market. We have enjoyed serving our customers at our satellite location for the last three years. While the Market has been profitable, the extra work of two locations and costs associated with it, have become unjustifiable from a business perspective. We make this announcement with a heavy heart because of the immense pride and work we have put into creating the Market. Furthermore, due to timing, this was the most opportune time to close due to our employees. Most of the Market employees were part time, and with school letting out many were leaving to stay home with their children. Most importantly, the remaining Market crew will transfer employment to the processing plant on Fairview road.
With the closure of the store, all of the retail sales and services will be shifted to the original processing plant retail store. This will be an opportunity for Cloud’s to service our customers better. Very soon, upgrades will be made to the original retail store. Service will also be improved by maintaining better inventories and the ability to make special cuts and orders. Because all meat was delivered pre-cut, we were unable to do at the Market.
Thank you, to all of those, who have supported the Carthage Meat Market for the last three years. The Cloud family and crew will still be able to serve your needs now and into the future, we’re just a couple more miles down the road now.

Super steak sale! These are Select Aged Ribeyes in a gift box. They come in four and six count boxes. They are cut slightly more than an inch and ready to grill. $9.95 per pound! Whole boxes sold only.

Cloud's has a limited supply of Smoked and Cured Easter 1/2 hams for sale. They will average between 10-12 pounds. Price is $2.99 per pound. The hogs these hams were processed from were born and raised on a family farm in Pierce City, Missouri. They were raised without antibiotics. Please call ahead to reserve your ham because we have a small supply. First come first serve.
