I do Doordash on my time off from work. I have went into doing this on based on Matthew 25:34-40 (KJV). I have heard and read comments on other social media pages about how to dash and get a good pay. I understand that its a job and we have to get our moneys worth out of the deliverie
s. BUT I will never understand the concept of being picky on the order. Allow me to explain. So, many dashers says don't accept orders if there is no tip showing up. Or if the pay is less then the mileages. What I have learned from dashing myself. I have saw videos (I am sure we all have) about some dashers are in the wrong on how they handle food/product. To where so many customers doesn't want to tip because of this reason. I also learned some customers will tip in person or do the tip after getting their meal/product (and that could be because of how they was treated). It is definitely a good reason for customers not to until after the fact. I also learned that DASHERS will go by the amount that is payed for the miles as well. I don't understand why Dashers blaming customers for this when its the doordash themselves sets the pay for delivery drivers yall cannot control how much they pay us per order. I also learned that some Customers may be sick, a vehicle broke down, their job has them in a bin, ECT. where they could not get away to get what they need/want. I know its none of my concern but, I do know some of these excuses are true, because it can happen to all of us which makes it not the customers fault. (God knows who is being truthful and who is not. My job is in Matthew 25:34-40 (KJV))
I believe as a dasher (depending on how yall was treated) I would have to earn your trust before tipping. I also know for a fact that when it comes to being sick or having vehicle problems yall not going to tip and if you do its not that good of one. Because 1) if your sick how are we going to expect a tip if your sick and cannot go to work and make money. 2) If your vehicle is down you maybe lucky to get help to get to work until your vehicle is back up. So, how are we going to expect a tip if your money is going on to fix up your vehicle. Thank God, that when I first started these are the verses he told me to go by. I am grateful for doing it according to Scripture the best of my ability. Thank you.
