Cock-A-Doodle Do Feilds is TWO! CUTEST little birthday, we love hosting birthdays on the farm. Guests enjoy two private hours for their party with all the baby animal snuggles, up-close time in the pasture to meet and greet the ducks and chickens and brush and feed the goats of all ages! Today was especially fun with the newest babies prancing all around the barnyard.
We had the water play station set up for messy play, playdough creations, coloring, jumping toys and tractors. There is something for everyone to do, see and hold. Growns up and children alike. We are so thankful to the families who allow us to help celebrate these special occasions. 🥰

There are days I look around and think… this is exactly what childhood is supposed to feel like.
Bare feet in the grass.
Sunshine on their faces.
Dirty hands from creating, exploring, feeding animals, building little worlds, and getting lost in play.
I’m so thankful my own children get to grow up this way outside, curious, messy, free…
Because play is a child’s work.

…..summer memories aren’t usually made from perfectly planned moments… they’re made in the simple ones.

Holding a baby goat.
Collecting eggs.
Mixing mud soup.
Running through the sunshine.
Making a new friend.
Coming home tired, happy, and a little bit filthy.
Our Two Little Acres summer camp sessions begin next week and continue through the end of July, Monday–Wednesday from 9–1.

I don’t heavily advertise camp because we keep our groups intentionally small, under 10 children, so each child can have a truly hands-on, one-of-a-kind farm experience they won’t find anywhere else.

And this summer is extra special… we have new baby goats born this month, along with all the sweet baby animal magic that makes Two Little Acres feel like its own little world.

Recently, one of our families hatched the sweetest little chicks and named them Fire Truck, Tater & Tot which is exactly the kind of childhood magic this experience creates.

Well I was WAY OFF 🤦‍♀️😂 We have two new additions to the homestead as of yesterday! Boy and Girl Twins! Born to momma Rosy. She “uttered up” a month ago and for those following along I thought we would have babies last month for sure! She took her sweet time making these two perfect, healthy twins and we are over the moon excited to have them join the fam! They made their surprise debut in toddler time today! Join us next week! Fridays at 10am!

Today’s Bunnies & Blooms gathering was a beautiful reminder of why I created Two Little Acres in the first place….
As a mother, I longed for slower, meaningful experiences for my own children…mornings that felt intentional, sensory-rich, and connected. The kind of childhood memories filled with sunshine, rain boots, snuggles, and little hands reaching for yours.

Watching so many mothers experience that alongside their littles today felt incredibly special.
Thank you for supporting my small family farm, my babies and I and the vision I have for Two Little Acres.
