Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us this event truly meant the world to me and my family. As a neurodivergent farmer, being part of the You Are Not Alone: Autism Community Giveback filled me with so much gratitude and joy. 💚
We were honored to bring our Suga’s Urban Farm Petting Zoo and share love, connection, and community with all of you. Seeing so many people show up in big numbers to celebrate inclusion, laughter, and togetherness was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making this day unforgettable.

Yesterday had me dragging like a well feed cow.
After all that harvesting and re‑seating for fall and winter, I was moving around like, “Whew… whose idea was farming again?” 🤣🤣

Then BAM BAM BAM a knock at the door.
I opened it and got hit with the cutest surprise: these beautiful babies waiting for me like, “Hey girl, we heard you needed a mood upgrade.”

And just like that, my whole day lit up like like fireflies in a mason jar.

When people hear the word farming, they usually picture acres of land and a man on a tractor. But urban farming looks a little different and yet it’s just as important. We both feed the needs of our communities, just in different ways.

What I love most about urban farming is that I sit right in the heart of my neighborhood. My community can wake up, walk over, and step right into peace. They come to relax, to learn, to see things they’ve never seen before all just a short walk or drive from home.

Yesterday reminded me why I do this work. The children came to the garden and sat for hours… watching the animals, playing, learning, and finding a quiet place to breathe. In the middle of city life, they discovered what it feels like to slow down.

That’s why I love urban farming.
We feed our community every single day mind, body, and soul.

Thank you to the City of College Park, Georgia for knowing how much our community needed this and for providing the space, land, and opportunity to make it possible.

There is nothing like working side‑by‑side with another farmer on their farm . The laughter, the shared stories , the way we are able to work together seemingly, it fills me with so much joy. Community is everything to me, and moments like these remind me just how blessed I am. Here’s a little clip of me working with Farmer Kendall and her beautiful family.

Feeling so blessed today.

Every day, God trusts me with land, herbs, animals, and the ability to grow what feeds and heals so many.

Being a farmer and herbalist is more than a job it’s a calling, a privilege, and a deep joy. There’s truly nothing like it. Knowing I’m walking in my purpose fills me up in every way.

Today I want to take a moment to say:

Happy National Farmers Day
to all the incredible farmers out here!

Especially the female farmers. This year, 2026, is recognized as the Year of the Female Farmer, and as a woman in agriculture, it means the world to me. We are not always seen or recognized for the work we do, but our impact is undeniable.

Please remember: without farmers, there is no food… and without food, there is no life.

We are the keepers of the world, and I’m grateful to stand among the many.
